GB Naples Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Christmas TOY DRIVE!

It's that time of year again, where children in need could really use a hand. So to help out we here at GB Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Naples are having a TOY DRIVE at the school. Please bring anything you are able to such as toys, coloring books and school supplies. We will have the drive here all month long. All Items donated will be the NCH pediatrics unit for christmas. Thanks so much!

Here at GB Naples the biggest compliment our students can give is the referral of their friends and loved ones. Miami Open!

Saturday, October 23rd Professor Paulo and some students participated in the Miami Open tourament. This is an official IBJJF tournament, which is one of the best events to go to. No white and blue belt refs, only certified black belt judges. We came home with 5 medals! 2 Bronze, 1 Silver and 2 Golds! Congrats to A.J. VanCamp , Brandon Russell, Ed Stojinski, Natalie Cavin Ribeiro and Randy Sheaffer! Awesome job guys and gals! Also a great big thank you to all the GB team members and families who came out to support!

Gracie Barra Naples brazilian Jiu Jitsu Can Food Drive!

Gracie Barra Naples is having a can food drive for those of us less fortunate this upcoming Holiday season. All cans will be donated to the St. Matthews house in Naples. Every student is asked to bring in at least 2 cans. All of our GBN kids are encouraged to bring in as many cans as they can. The child to bring in the most cans will win a surprise at the kids Halloween party!

Professor Daniel "Montanha" Nycz is a student of the master himself Carlos Gracie Jr. and will be at Gracie Barra Naples on August 14th from 11-1pm. The seminar is only $35.00 for GB members for Non GB members it will be $45.00 Please RSVP with Natalie our projects manager at (239)-331-7320 she will answer any and all of your questions. GBN will be on every table in Pelican Larrys!

LOOK OUT! In the next few months the Pelican Larry's on Pine Ridge Rd. will be placing brand new varnished tables with our logo on each one. Along with other local business in our area, after that we will be placed in the Imm. Rd. location as well as the Davis location and eventually Estero.

My Friend and my Prof. Diojone Farias' wife Bianca Barreto won her 6th World championship this past June in California! As well as one of Gracie Barra Naples own Natalie Cavin Ribeiro my wife, after only three months of giving birth, fought in purple belt division and placed 2nd! I am very happy and very proud of my Friends and Family who competed in California!

As an official IBBJF & USBJJF recognized Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school; and Prof. Paulo Ribeiro a recognized 2nd degree black belt. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is now seeing its fair share of well warranted popularity but with the good also comes the bad so because of this we are also seeing a lot of wannabes schools, where non certified and unqualified people are teaching BJJ.
